So… there it is. Overture.

My first little album, years in the making, containing quite a big chunk of my musical journey – from guitar-focused music, over orchestral passages, towards electronic music. A bit of an an odd album, to be honest, very fragmented, but I hope you all find something you like here 😉 If you do not feel like listening to the whole thing, here’s what I’d say if I had to describe and/or sell each song to you (skip this if you’d rather be surprised):

1. Fake – Dramatic orchestral intro to the whole album. Would probably also work good for a commercial.

2. No More – Some melodic house/techno. First track featuring my vocals. Signature changes.

3. Gezeit – More melodic house/techno. Piano-focused.

4. Overture – Slow techno. Chords between classical music and jazz. Very analog, very digital. Oberheim Brass Sound.

5. Adament – From Ambient to Dubstep to Orchestral/Guitar/Electronic Hybrid.

6. Degradation – DnB and Electro House. Taikos. Lots of rhythm changes.

7. Rise – Taking one more stab at DnB. The breakdown was inspired by a song by Bibisbeautypalace (damn, that was five years ago).

8. And the Storm disappeared – Melancholic piano-focused piano outro for the album, but so much more than that. Perfectly describes how I feel now that this album is finally released.
